And they are just okay with this ... - A weird guy they just met says that Lee can't be saved and they are not only accepting his word, they are no longer even considering trying a rescue!?!?! What is wrong with these people. Hell, Lee handed himself over to protect Erika and she is sitting quietly and listening like everyone else.

You bring up a good point. However it would be pointless for them to worry about Lee when they have some unanswered questions of their own. And what else can Erika do but sit quietly? She can't speak. Sure, Elliot can understand her but right now she needs to focus on the matter at hand and get the plot moving forward. I wouldn't normally say this but character development can wait. The author/s have been fiddling around all these little plot twists since the beginning so now would be a good time to get them done.

Besides, they have no idea where Lee is, maybe even Burgelmi (is that his name? I haven't read this in a while) doesn't know. Might as well focus on what they do/will know then what they don't.

Timing is everything ... - Jewels, you are right on certain levels. Still, it is my feeling that they do the rescue-thing now, and do the Q&A later (maybe when Lee and/or Dara are around).
