Hmm. - Actually, now is a pretty good time. It showcases the difference so that Dara has immediate comparison. Also, look what it did to her gift! He's not about to be swallowed into the shadowy abyss right now while Dara is having a foot popping kiss. How many girls you know get a kiss and pop their foot when they don't like it? LOL.
And note how she's got ahold of his jacket, pulling him in tight? That is not a flat palm to the shoulder suggesting possible pushing away. :D
